BitBuns: FAQ PROT.
// Negative, ghostrider. BitBuns are not just static pixels. Each Bun is a unique, provably scarce digital identity (PFP) minted on Ethereum with a bespoke algorithm. They’re your on-chain flex, your digital persona, and your exclusive pass to the #Buniverse. Don't call it a JPEG; it's a tokenized key.
// To snag a BitBun, you'll need two things: a non-custodial crypto wallet and some ETH.
*Wallet Up: We recommend MetaMask (browser extension & mobile app) or similar ERC-721 compatible wallets. Think of it as your digital strongbox for NFTs. Download, secure your seed phrase (write it down, offline, like it's your life savings – because it is!), and never, ever share it.
*Fund It: Get ETH from a reputable exchange (Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, etc.) and send it to your MetaMask wallet address. Make sure you have enough to cover the mint price AND gas fees (those pesky network transaction costs – unavoidable on-chain).
*Minting: During our official drop, head to Opensea. Connect your wallet, confirm the transaction, and boom – your Bit Bun gets minted directly into your wallet. If you miss the primary sale, look for secondary market listings. But DYOR on those listings!
// Utility isn't some vague roadmap promise here. Your BitBun is a loaded access pass. Think token-gated experiences that actually matter, not just Discord roles.
Specifically, holding a BitBun grants you:
Direct Governance Power: Vote on key decisions for the #Buniverse treasury and future project direction via our DAO. Your Bun, your voice.
Alpha Access: Exclusive, token-gated channels for market insights, early info on upcoming drops, and direct lines to core team development. No degens left behind.
IRL & Metaverse Events: Priority access or discounts to exclusive BitBun holder meetups, virtual parties, and future metaverse integrations. Flex your PFP in person and in pixels.
Future Airdrops & IP Rights: Potential for future NFT airdrops, and depending on your Bun's traits, commercial rights for your specific asset. Build your own Bun brand.
The Buniverse is built by its holders, for its holders. Wen utility? Now.
// The official mint price for a BitBun is a fixed 0.66 ETH.
When it comes to rarity, every Bun is unique, but some are undoubtedly rarer. We've got 6 distinct trait tiers for various attributes (like Background, Body, Eyes, Headwear, Mouth, and Accessories), from Common to 1/1 Unique. Landing a Bun with those ultra-rare traits (think sub-1% distribution) will definitely set you apart in the Horde and likely fetch a premium on the secondary market.
To understand your Bun's standing in the hierarchy, you'll need a rarity ranking tool. These platforms analyze all the traits within a collection, calculate their statistical scarcity, and then assign a rarity score and rank to each individual NFT. It's how the community gauges true rarity beyond subjective aesthetics.
Here's the breakdown of the Bun rarity ranks:
Common: The foundation of the Horde. Still unique, still yours. (~45-50% of the collection)
Uncommon: Slightly less frequent, adding more distinct flair. (~25-30% of the collection)
Rare: Fewer Buns hit this tier, making them more sought after. (~15-20% of the collection)
Epic: Significant scarcity, these Buns really stand out. (~5-7% of the collection)
Legendary: Ultra-scarce. Finding one of these is like hitting the jackpot. (~1-3% of the collection)
1/1 Unique: The undisputed kings/queens of the Buniverse. Truly one-of-a-kind, often with custom art or features. (Less than 0.1% of the collection)
Post-reveal, simply input your Bun's ID into any reputable NFT rarity ranking platform to see its precise rank.
This isn't just about owning a Bun; it's about flexing the right metadata.
